How Do We Test?

There are a lot of different ADHD screenings that mental health care providers can use. At Reiff Mental Health we use the Creyos Comprehensive Behavior Rating Scales (Conners CBRS) to screen for ADHD.

The Creyos CBRS is an easy-to-use and can help identify if ADHD signs or symptoms are present and help patients better understand their behavior and habits – and how likely these signs or symptoms are to impact the patients life. The Creyos test may also help identify signs of other emotional, behavioral, and academic disorders.

Getting tested is easy and will take less than an hour of your time.  You will receive a link from your provider which allows you to take the assessment at home from your own computer.  We’ll then schedule you a follow up appointment to review the results with your psychiatric provider.

If you are diagnosed with ADHD after a screening, the diagnosis tends to fall into one of three categories based on a particular pattern of behaviors:

• Primarily Inattentive ADHD – e.g., poor focus and organizational skills, easily bored

• Hyperactive & Impulsive ADHD – e.g., constantly talking, difficulty sitting still, risk-taking

• Combined ADHD – a combination of inattentive, hyperactive, and impulsive behaviors

ADHD testing is not covered by insurance, but our rates are very competitive and allow for free re-testing to assess the efficacy of treatment.  Some places charge for a monthly subscription, but we only charge a one time fee of $175.  The follow up appointments and treatment would be covered by insurance or at the cash pay rates.
